CUSTOMS STATUS
Before proceeding with the subject of customs regimes, it is useful to dwell on the concept of customs status. The concept of customs status
It expresses its status in terms of whether it is in free circulation in Turkey (GK 3/7).
'goods in free circulation' statement,
- does not include the inputs completely obtained in the Turkish Customs Territory and imported from the country or territory outside the Turkish Customs Territory, or
- obtained from the goods subject to conditional exemption arrangements and determined not to have special economic value in accordance with the provisions of the regime to which they are subject, or
-Imported from a country or territory outside the Customs Territory of Turkey, subject to the regime of entry into free circulation, or
- Goods obtained or produced separately or together with the above-mentioned goods in the Customs Territory of Turkey (GK 3/6-a),
'goods not in free circulation' The term means the goods other than the goods in free circulation and the goods actually leaving the Customs Territory of Turkey, without prejudice to the transit provisions (GK 3/6-b).
CUSTOMS REGIMES – General Provisions
As stated in the fifteenth paragraph of Article 3 of the Customs Law, Customs Regimes consist of the following:
a. Free Circulation Regime,
b. Transit Regime,
c. Customs Warehouse Regime,
D. Inward Processing Regime,
to. Processing Regime under Customs Control,
f. Temporary Import Regime,
g. Outward Processing Regime,
h. Export Regime
CONDITIONAL EXEMPTION REGULATIONS AND ECONOMIC
EFFECTIVE CUSTOMS REGIMES – Common Provisions
The term "conditional exemption arrangement" refers to goods not in free circulation,
– transit,
– Warehouse,
– Inward processing within the scope of the conditional exemption system,
– processing under customs control,
– Temporary importation;
The term "customs regime with economic effect"
– Warehouse,
– Inward processing,
– processing under customs control,
– Temporary import,
– Outward processing;
It means the implementation of their regimes (GK 79).
INCOTERMS 2020' DELIVERY METHODS
Delivery forms used in all modes of transport
EXW (EX WORKS): Delivery at the exporter's workplace
FCA (FREE CARRIER): Delivery to the carrier
CPT (CARRIAGE PAID TO): Freight paid delivery
CIP (Carriage and Insurance Paid to): Insurance and Carriage paid delivery
DDP (DELIVERED DUTY PAID): Delivery with customs duties paid
DAP (DELIVERED AT PLACE): Delivery at the designated place

FAS (FREE ALONGSIDE SHIP): Delivery next to the ship
FOB (FREE ON BOARD): Delivery on board
CFR (COST AND FREIGHT) : Freight paid delivery
CIF (COST, INSURANCE, FREIGHT): Insurance, costs and freight paid delivery
